Notes The Install executable is not signed as I couldn't be bothered with the agro... The install defaults to running the appropriate install files and permission scripts automatically, however, in the event of....... If this is an overwrite of an existing install, when the "Install Microsoft stuff" pops up, it can be closed and cancelled. Windows 8 - 10 - After install, it may be required to set file permissions on the "ProgramData" and/or the "ProgramData\AnaSoft" "C:\All Users\AnaSoft\" folders so that the program and user is allowed to write to that directory. Symptoms of write issues is the inability to save any of the example schematics. To do this, right click on the c:\ProgramData folder and select "Properties" and then select the "Security" Tab. Change permissions with the "Edit" button. Select "Users" and set the check boxes to allow full write access. It may also be necessary/wise to turn off that other Microsoft deliberate bug, UAC (user Account Control). That feature can cause files to be written to locations different form their real locations. If this is a new Install, you may also need to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) file vcredist_x86.exe for the 32 Bit version, or vcredist_x64.exe for the 64 bit version. One of these packages will be required if a message appears when first running SuperSpice that it is unable to start. The appropriate files are included in the above SuperSpiceInstall.exe and SuperSpiceInstall64.exe and are placed in the main \AnaSoft\SuperSpice\ folder. Double-click on the file to run it. Extra Notes: The install program installs Kevin's Physics and Electronics Tutorial pdfs into the \ProgramFiles\Anasoft\ folder Computer Requirements Memory SuperSpice can be rather thirsty memory wise for some output data files.
